On June 5th, 2021, amidst the verdant corridors of ITC East, the spirit of environmental stewardship flourished as the students of Batch 1 & 2, Year 9, 2021-2022, embarked on a meaningful journey to celebrate World Environment Day. With 51 eager minds engaged, the occasion bloomed into an inspiring showcase of dedication to our planet's well-being.
In homage to the United Nations' call to action, the students orchestrated a symphony of initiatives, weaving together creativity, education, and hands-on conservation efforts. Chart papers blossomed with vibrant hues, bearing messages of environmental awareness, while others embraced the soil beneath their feet, nurturing young saplings in terrace gardens, fields, and balconies.
Captured in the lens of camaraderie and shared purpose, each student's endeavor, whether in crafting educational displays or tending to the earth, became a testament to the power of collective action. Under the guidance of Ms. Estrela Osta, these individual acts of greenery and enlightenment coalesced into a single, poignant narrative—a testament to the potency of youth-driven environmentalism.
As the day drew to a close, the culmination of efforts materialized in a heartfelt video montage, a testament to the passion and dedication of the ITC East community. In its pixels danced the essence of World Environment Day—a celebration not merely of a date on the calendar but of a profound commitment to safeguarding our shared home.
