Teachers’ day is celebrated every year throughout the country on 5th September. In the same way, Don Bosco Tech Sabbavaram, Andhra Pradesh, centre has been conducted the virtual teacher's day celebration on this day in 2020. The purpose of conducting Teacher's day was to express trainees' or students' gratitude and appreciation towards their teachers.

This day is dedicated to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – the second President of India. The great academic philosopher and one of the most well-known diplomats, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers' day.

India’s second President, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was of the opinion that “teachers should be the best minds in the country”. Don Bosco Tech, Sabbavaram celebrated virtually to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts and hard work of teachers in making the students sophisticated and responsible individuals.

Rev. Fr. Balashowry SDB, The centre director of Don Bosco Tech Sabbavaram was invited to the celebration as a guest. Father has explained the importance of student-teacher relationships and a positive learning environment for the students. After that, the students greeted all the staff and the entire Don Bosco Tech Society for their selfless service towards the youth for providing better skills freely.  Finally, the program was concluded by vote of thanks by Ms Adi Ramalaxmi, Hospitality Trainer.
