As part of the Don Bosco Tech’s training process the Don Bosco Tech, Sabbavaram center had organized virtual industrial visits for the SBI Debt Recovery Agent (DRA) trainees. This visit was intended to empower the students to understand the standard operating procedure for performing the recovery agent’s role and functions, recovery policies, procedures, and understand recovery legal aspects related to debt recovery.
The briefing was done by Mr. V Raju (Head Cash Officer). He began with the history of SBI (State Bank of India), functions, and Various loan products offered by SBI to their customers.
In addition, Mr. Raju explained the roles, functions, policies, procedures, and legal aspects related to DRA. While explaining the roles he reminded certain pertaining points saying; ‘A debt recovery agent is employed and empowered by an organization to attempt collection of debt by all legal and possible means. A DRA reaches out to customers to collect payment for overdue bills, loans, or other payments.’
To conclude the resource person demonstrated various tools, applications, and collection processes. As part of the collection process, he showed the trainees demo with the help of the system. And also he pointed out the collection process procedure, in that he briefed the following points;

- Call
- Listen and Negotiable
- Legal Action
In the end, the students got clarified their doubts by giving their honest feedback. The Industrial visit was very fruitful for all the students who got exposure to practical learning with demonstration.
