In continuing efforts in enhancing and empowering the skills of future employees of the SBI Debt Recovery Agent(DRA) Curriculum, Don Bosco Tech Sabbavaram, Andhra Pradesh organized a Virtual Guest Lecture on ‘Employability Skills for Debt Recovery’.

Mrs. A. Poomagal (Assistant Professor, St. Joseph’s College of Art and Science, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu), was the eminent speaker for this lecture. Mrs. A. Poomagal was heartily welcomed by Mr. Sivaiah, Trainer of SBI DRA, who introduced the guest having 10+ years of experience in Management Studies. The speaker highlighted the present need for a corporate system and how the trainee's skills enhanced can help the students in equipping themselves with the ability required to compete in the profession. The lecturer covered those points that required for the students to develop their skills in their particular work field, So that, they can tackle obstacles during their career.

She spoke on the various aspects of employability requirements, soft skills, and behavioral aspects that students should inculcate while they are working in the industry. She explained the various types of communication, that are verbal, non-verbal, and written communication. She provided some tips to frame the resume professionally to catch the attention of the Interviewer. And also explained, how to face the interview and the kind of skills are required to crack the interview, so that, they would be recruited easily.

Two of the students from centre Monika and Sai Ram gave feedback on the session. They mentioned that the session would help them in their personal and professional life. The topic covered was appreciated by the students and requested to arrange such talk in the future as well.

At the end of the session, Ms. Rani Francis Trainer of Soft –Skills expressed a deep sense of appreciation to the valuable guests.
