Industrial visits aim at providing an opportunity for students/trainees to ask questions related to their area of interest. With regular industrial visits, the students can identify their prospective areas of work like marketing, hospitality, beauty & wellness, etc. This also gives students a platform to enhance their interpersonal skills. 

Don Bosco Tech Society aims to provide the best in everything. Thus it is seen through the step taken by the Sabbavaram center who accompanied the trainees to ‘Feel How Hotel’ on January 23, 2020, for the Hospitality Trainees, Phase10 Batch3. The hotel is located in the posh area of Visakhapatnam, near RTC Complex.

On arrival of the trainees to the spot, Mr. Pradeep (Manager) welcomed with an open arm. Thus he began briefing about the hotel, especially its facilities. Why this hotel stands out from the rest he mentioned: “that this hotel is committed to following the ethos of equality among each level of employees.” He defended his statement with an example of having the same canteen for every level of staff who sit to eat together. This is the very same place “Once a month all the employees gather together to meet, greet and socialize.” 

Mr. Pradeep introduced the trainees to Mr. Sunil (Manager, F&B) of the Hotel. It is Mr. Sunil, who spoke to the trainees about keeping goals in the first place, right in front of you, no matter what it takes. Thereafter, he accompanied them to all the departments and briefed about the facilities they provide to the customers. The visit to the hotel was so enticing that they felt to be too short.

At the end of the visit, the manager provided the trainees with a cup of hot tea and snacks to munch. For all the marvelous experiences they had concluded with a vote of thanks to the staff of the hotel. In the end, all paused for the photograph, right in front of the hotel.
