An input session by Mr. Somaraju

A day was set aside to brief the electrical domain trainee of Don Bosco Tech Society (Sabbavaram) on February 27, 2020. Mr. Somaraju Aryabatta (Trainer, Electrical, Poly Technic College, Sabbavaram), was the invited resource person for the day who shared his knowledge and expertise with the trainees who are one step away from joining the labor force to make earn their livelihood.
Mr. Chennakesavulu (Trainer, Electrical) introduced Mr. Aryabhatta to the trainees. The resource person addressed the trainees with a great zeal. Keeping the objective of his visit in mind he explained the trainees on solar energy in detail. He did mention them about the dire need for power generation to meet its demand pan India. During the speech, he mentioned where we are concerning power generation. However, with a good note, he mentioned the huge potential of solar energy India has, provided research in this field should be strengthened. “There is a possibility to develop a project by the trainees,” he said. And he shared his ideas and expertise on how to tap funds for the project. Showing the possibility, he showed some of the photographs of solar power plants in India and around the world too. Solar energy project-based videos and the statistical data related to the same were also shown. The resource person displayed the images of several power plants, both in India and outside.
The guest lecture ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. P. Rani (Trainer, CE & ITeS) to Mr. Aryabhatta for sparing his valuable time and sharing his experiences and knowledge with the trainees.
From the session, they learned a lot. The trainees found the session to be very resourceful.
