Sabbavaram center goes after the underprivileged youth
23 Dec 2019
Don Bosco Tech Society, Sabbavaram started its process of mobilization from December 7, 2019, to December 22, 2019, looking for prospective youth, in and around the villages, to join its free skill training program to build their career. It was a fifteen-long-day of tireless work, digging into the remote villages, with worn-out legs trading through stony and uneven roads made tough for the staff members to mobilize the youngsters in those villages. Facing the challenge, to encourage and to motive the underprivileged and unemployed youth of this region, the staff left no unturned to reach-out to them.
We covered about 50 such villages and called together all unemployed youth and made them aware of Don Bosco Tech’s free skill training program. People were seen to be happy and responded positively to grab this opportunity to see better tomorrow. During this venture, the staff understood some of the vital problems faced by the youth of this region, despite being well qualified.
“Mobilization helped us obtain vast knowledge about the present-day needs and we could channelize our energy for the betterment of the unemployed youth,” said one of the trainees. We were much appreciated by the people in the villages, for the good work we are rendering for the wellbeing of the youth. It was a memorable experience for these trainers who are committed to bringing a ray of hope in the lives of underprivileged youth.
