Don Bosco Tech Society has conducted a Final Assessment for the CRM Domestic Non-Voice Batch (220282) of Don Bosco Tech Kollam centre on August 17, 2022, from 10 am to 5 pm.
The training program spans 90 days, is attended by 26 trainees, and is funded by Accenture, a leading Global professional IT service provider, in collaboration with Don Bosco Tech Society, to deliver free skill training to the unemployed youth of unprivileged sectors in the economy. The primary objective of the assessment is to analyze whether the teaching has achieved the stated vision of skill-based free training. Organizing a final valuation can help determine the impact of the training on each trainee.
The assessment was organized by Navriti Technologies, a leading skill assessment company in India, with a vision to build the world’s largest skill registry of certified and employable individuals. Over 26 students were taking the online test. There were two sessions of exams, one covering theory and the other covering viva on a shift basis. For the first and second shifts, 14 and 12 trainees, were given permission to attend the valuation. The purpose of this setup is to ensure that the assessment runs smoothly. At first, there was a link that would work with the mobile application version. Due to inadequate network connections, the Navriti team switched from the mobile application to the desktop version at our request.
During the session, the below issues were raised:
1. Initially, the link to a mobile application was shared, but they switched to a PC version upon our request. Even after taking the exam twice, some students were instructed to retake it since the screen still displayed "No attempt."
2. Despite answering 30 questions in the first session, it indicated that no questions were attempted. After discussing it with the technical team, they agreed and recommended we submit the assessment.
3. Mozilla Firefox does not support the desktop version. Some students used this browser during the first session. Hence, they were unable to use it for the second session.
4. One candidate made numerous attempts to start the valuation but was unsuccessful. Therefore, we requested the technical team to create a new ID, and they did so. Following that, the candidate might resume his final assessment.
5. Students have suggested that the LMS practice exam should have the same format as the final assessment.
