The mobilization venture for the CRM Domestic Non-Voice domain at Don Bosco Tech (Kollam), commencing on April 18, 2022, was a meticulously orchestrated effort that leveraged a variety of methods to reach and engage potential trainees.

Our trainers diligently conducted door-to-door visits, disseminated information through church announcements, and utilized the reach of FM radio broadcasts, as well as leading newspapers like MalayalaManorama and Kerala Kaumudi. Additionally, we employed digital platforms such as WhatsApp and Facebook to circulate flyers and notices, ensuring a wide outreach among the local populace.

The collaboration with esteemed organizations like Fishermen Community Development Program (FCDP), Theeradesha Mahila Society (TMS), and Childline played a pivotal role. Their active involvement in distributing brochures and raising awareness significantly contributed to our success. We also utilized Radio Benziger, a popular community radio service in Kollam, to broadcast information about our courses.

Our outreach extended to coastal fishermen’s colonies, remote villages, and various youth groups affiliated with local parishes. This strategic approach was driven by the fact that many alumni from these areas had previously trained at Don Bosco Tech (Kollam), establishing a strong connection and trust within these communities.

Despite encountering challenges such as effectively communicating the benefits of the new AI-Cloud Computing course, the preference of rural students for online classes, shifting student attitudes towards offline learning post-pandemic, and limited media coverage despite NSDC approval, our team's perseverance and dedication shone through.

The commitment of the trainers and the collaborative efforts with partner organizations led to a successful outcome. By the end of the 30-day mobilization period, we achieved enrollment from 33 motivated students, with 26 promptly submitting their documents and officially enrolling. This achievement underscores the resilience and adaptability of our team in overcoming obstacles to provide valuable training opportunities to aspiring professionals in the CRM Domestic Non-Voice domain.
