Fabio Attard SDB, the esteemed General Counsellor for Salesian Youth Ministry, for an unforgettable visit that left an indelible mark on everyone present. Fr. Attard, a globally respected leader and advocate for youth empowerment, delivered a powerful and thought-provoking speech that underscored the transformative role of skill development in shaping the personal and professional journeys of young people.
With an air of warmth and wisdom, Fr. Attard captivated the audience, weaving together compelling anecdotes, practical insights, and timeless principles. He passionately emphasized the synergy between education, hands-on skills, and core values as the pillars of a meaningful and impactful life. His profound words, such as, “The future belongs to those who are equipped to face it,” resonated deeply, challenging the youth to view skill development not merely as a task, but as a gateway to seizing life’s opportunities with confidence and purpose.
Fr. Attard delved into the Salesian approach to youth ministry, a philosophy rooted in holistic growth, blending academic excellence with vocational and social learning. He urged the young attendees to cultivate a mindset that values both intellectual curiosity and practical experience, reminding them that true success is not measured solely by personal achievements but by their ability to contribute meaningfully to their communities. His insights were as energizing as they were enlightening, sparking moments of reflection and fresh determination among the students.
The atmosphere grew even more dynamic as Fr. Attard engaged directly with the youth after his speech. He answered their questions with patience and clarity, providing tailored advice that inspired hope and motivation. His presence was more than a lecture; it was a dialogue, an exchange of ideas that made each student feel seen and valued.
Fr. Attard’s visit was more than just a special occasion—it was a turning point for many. His message of balancing competence with character, ambition with service, and dreams with determination lingered in the minds of those who had the privilege to hear him.
