WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY Programmes at DON BOSCO TECH KOLLAM

Don Bosco Tech Kollam observed World Environment Day 2022 on June 5 with great enthusiasm and a range of engaging activities. The day began with a thoughtful inaugural speech by Mr. Tinu, the Communicative English trainer, who highlighted the significance of World Environment Day and the importance of environmental conservation. Following this, trainees were organized into four teams to partake in various activities aligned with the theme 'ONLY ONE EARTH'.
The teams commenced the day by actively participating in cleaning classrooms and their surroundings, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Subsequently, they engaged in group discussions to delve deeper into environmental issues and brainstorm solutions. This collaborative effort led to the creation of insightful and impactful slogans that resonated with the theme of the day.
Moreover, trainees showcased their artistic talents through poster making, capturing the essence of 'ONLY ONE EARTH' through creative and meaningful artwork. Their posters not only conveyed important messages about environmental stewardship but also reflected their passion and dedication to preserving our planet.
Throughout the day, the trainees exhibited a strong sense of environmental awareness and responsibility, actively participating and contributing to each activity with enthusiasm and creativity. Their collective efforts underscored the importance of individual and collective action in safeguarding our environment for future generations.
The event culminated with a heartfelt thanksgiving speech delivered by Godwin A, the CRM trainer, who reiterated the significance of environmental awareness and the urgent need to protect and nurture our planet. His speech served as a reminder to everyone present about the importance of adopting sustainable practices and caring for the environment we all share.
