With the aim of enhancing communication skills, creativity, imagination, and self-expression among trainees, Don Bosco Tech Monsada Centre organized a Storytelling Competition on 27th March 2026 during the campus assembly. This initiative was part of the centre’s ongoing commitment to encourage interactive learning and to develop confidence and public speaking abilities among trainees.

A total of 15 trainees from the GSA batch actively participated in the competition. The event created a lively and supportive atmosphere where participants confidently presented stories based on moral lessons, real-life situations, imaginative ideas, and socially relevant topics. Using voice modulation, facial expressions, gestures, and eye contact, the trainees made their storytelling engaging and impactful, capturing the attention of both the judges and the audience.

The competition was judged by Mr. Provakar Majumder and Mr. Prokash Halder, who assessed the participants on various criteria such as originality, clarity of ideas, pronunciation, fluency, expression, confidence, and overall presentation. The judges appreciated the efforts of all participants and noted significant improvement in their communication skills and stage presence.

At the end of the programme, Mr. Provakar Majumder, GSA Trainer, announced the winners and congratulated them for their excellent performances. He also encouraged the other participants to stay motivated and continue practicing, emphasizing that regular effort and self-confidence are essential for growth.

After that, Mr. Prokash Halder, Communicative Trainer, addressed the trainees and praised them for their active involvement and dedication. He highlighted the importance of communication skills in professional life, explaining how effective communication contributes to better employability, teamwork, leadership, and career advancement. His message inspired the trainees to keep improving their communication abilities.

The event ended on a positive and inspiring note, leaving the trainees motivated and confident. The Storytelling Competition turned out to be a valuable learning experience that not only improved storytelling skills but also strengthened overall communication and self-confidence. The programme successfully reflected the mission of Don Bosco Tech Monsada Centre to equip young individuals with essential life and employability skills.
