The event was conducted by the Soft Skill Trainer Mr. Prokash Halder to develop confidence, communication skills, and public speaking abilities among students. A total of 15 students participated enthusiastically in the competition. Teachers, students, and school authorities attended the program and encouraged all the participants.
The Assembly Hall was beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was lively and cheerful. The program began with a welcome speech by the host, followed by an inspiring speech by the GSA Trainer Mr. Provakar Majumder. He explained the importance of self-confidence and communication skills in student life and encouraged all participants to perform fearlessly.
Main Event
After the introduction session, the main competition started. The rules were explained clearly to the participants. Each student was given three to four minutes to introduce themselves in English. They spoke about their name, family, hobbies, favorite subjects, achievements, and future goals.
One by one, all 15 students came onto the stage and delivered their speeches confidently. Some students spoke fluently with excellent pronunciation and body language. A few participants were nervous in the beginning, but they continued bravely with the encouragement of the audience and teachers.
Many students made their presentations interesting by sharing motivational quotes, personal experiences, and future ambitions. One student expressed the dream of becoming a doctor, while another wanted to become a teacher and serve society. Some students talked about hobbies like singing, dancing, painting, reading books, and playing sports.
The judges carefully observed every participant and evaluated them on confidence, fluency, pronunciation, voice clarity, eye contact, and presentation style. The audience listened attentively and applauded after every speech, creating a positive and encouraging environment in the hall.
Winner Announcement
After all the participants completed their speeches, the judges discussed the results carefully. Everyone waited eagerly for the announcement of the winners. Finally, Mr. Provakar came onto the stage to announce the results.
The first, second, and third prize winners were awarded with certificates, and gifts for their excellent performances. The audience congratulated the winners with loud applause.
The judges appreciated the efforts of all participants and advised students to practice speaking English regularly. They encouraged everyone to participate in more public speaking activities to improve confidence and communication skills.
