On March 14, 2025, an enriching and inspiring guest lecture on Hospitality Growth and the Career of Guest Service Associate (Food & Beverage) took place at the Don Bosco Tech Society in Sambalpur. The session was a remarkable experience for the trainees, providing them with valuable insights into the dynamic world of hospitality.
The event commenced with a warm and heartfelt welcome from Mr. Bhavani Sankar Bhanja, the domain trainer, who set the stage by introducing Ms. Swagatika Mahapatra, Manager of Garlic Restro & Lounge, Sambalpur, Odisha. With her wealth of experience and deep understanding of the industry, Ms. Swagatika captivated the audience from the very beginning, sharing her knowledge and passion for hospitality.
She began by congratulating the trainees for embarking on a career in one of the most rewarding and fast-growing industries. With a keen focus on the Food & Beverage sector, she painted a vivid picture of the limitless possibilities that await those willing to put in the effort. Hospitality, she explained, is more than just a profession—it is a gateway to a world of opportunities, offering competitive salaries, career growth, and the chance to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
