An interactive session was organized by Don Bosco Tech, Sambalpur on “Present a Product to Customer” on October 23, 2021, for the Retail Sales Associate batch 8 of Accenture Phase – 11 at Sambalpur, Odisha by virtual platform. The guest lecture began with a welcome address by the domain trainer Mr Sarat Chandra Das. He introduced and welcomed Mr Satyanarayan Biswal who is the guest lecturer of the day.

The session was then continued by Mr Biswal, who stressed on the common mistakes made when people talk about a product. These mistakes may cause the other person to quickly lose interest in your presentation.  He recommended using a voice recorder to tape the presentation. This will allow the trainees to hear exactly what they sound like as they discuss about product.

He shared many inside stories which helped students to learn the facts, related to marketing that how actually they attracted their customers and what are the strategies they were using at the time of product sales. The guest gave a few valuable tips to the trainees during the interaction with them. He stressed on grooming and communication which is an important part to present any product to customers. He stated that one should think about how to present a product to the customers. 

 In the later part of the session, he explained various job profiles to students who interacted in the session with keen interest and raised questions about how to make a career in the field of sales. In the end, he responded to the questions of students. Students were very enthusiastic and energetic throughout the session. The session ended with a hearty thanks to Mr Biswal by support domain trainer Mr Sarada Prasad Nanda in appreciation for taking the time out to educate the students.
