Don Bosco Tech Sambalpur organized an enlightening exposure visit to Print Bazzar near Pattnayak Pada, Sambalpur, Odisha, aimed at enhancing the professional ethics and knowledge of its trainees. On March 18, 2024, under the guidance of Mr. Lalgopal Nanda (Domain Trainer) and Mr. Dillip Kumar Behera (Centre Coordinator), all Graphic Designer trainees embarked on this insightful journey.

Upon arrival, the trainees were warmly welcomed by Mr. Nihar Ranjan Mishra, the proprietor of Print Bazzar. Mr. Mishra graciously elucidated the intricate processes involved in graphic product production, showcasing various methods and activities. The trainees gained firsthand experience in producing graphic products in hard copy through diverse printing techniques. They were exposed to a spectrum of design printing productions such as flex printing, banner printing, card printing, bill book printing, and printing on rigid materials like sunboard, hard plastic, tin panels, and steel panels.

During the visit, Mr. Mishra shared invaluable insights on kickstarting a career in graphic design, emphasizing the importance of mastering design principles, practicing graphic design tools, working on projects, and developing a robust portfolio.

The trainees actively engaged in the session, posing insightful questions to clarify their doubts, which Mr. Mishra graciously addressed. Reflecting on the experience, the trainees expressed, "On the whole, the trip was quite informative and educative."

This visit underscored the adage "See & know is better than read & learn," providing the trainees with a tangible understanding of the life of a graphic designer and an opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge into practical application. It was a transformative learning experience, enriching the trainees with a wealth of knowledge.
