2nd guest lecturer session for the Graphic Designer job role was successfully organized at Don Bosco Tech Sambalpur Center on December 19, 2022 for the trainees of batch - 3 of Accenture-12. Mr. Adnan Ali, proprietor of Ali Graphics joined us as an honorable guest lecturer for the session in question.

The session started with the welcome address by the domain trainer Mr. Lalgopal Nanda. He has introduced and welcomed Mr. Adnan Ali to deliver the lecture.

Mr. Ali picked up important topics such as brand identity and logo design/layout and print design and went on to explain them in detail. He also made it a point to encourage the trainees to make the session quite interactive. Regarding logo design, he also focused on how to get color, font, and symbol ideas for designing a logo. Logo design is the process of designing a logo. And branding is the process to build a brand. Therefore, to better understand the difference between logo design and branding, it is important to first define the concepts of a logo and a brand he said.

In the later part of the session while discussing on layout and print design he offered all seven tips as to how to effectively design the same. The tips provided by him were as follows: - Text of layout, Image in the graphic, Line and spaces, Shape and types, White space and blank space, Principles of layout design, Purpose of layout design.

Before concluding his session the guest enlightens the students on the bright carrier one can make in computer graphics and designs and the placement opportunities available for beginners. The lecture was very informative and the students enjoyed the lecture very much and looking forward to attend more such lectures in future.

The session concluded with a short question and answer session followed by vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Sarada Prasad Nanda, Centre Coordinator and he appreciated Mr. Ali for sparing his valuable time for the event.
