The batch inauguration ceremony of Accenture 2023 -24, Batch – 1 (Mushroom Grower Job Role), was held at Don Bosco Tech, Sambalpur, Odisha on June 2, 2023. Mr. Sarat Chandra Dash extended a hearty welcome to the guests as well as the new trainees. Again he went on to request the chief guest Sr. Sarita Kujur head of the Community Care Centre of JMJ Hospital to mark the opening of the event by lending a hand in lighting the lamp. Sr. Sarita lighted the lamp along with Mr. Dash and a few trainees.

Mr. Sarada Prasad Nanda centre coordinator spoke on the project and its work for the youth of our society. He also gave a verbal presentation on DB Tech’s skilling program and the benefits at large it offers in terms of the social and economic sphere. On being requested the chief guest, Sr. Sarita emphasized on the link between skilling and a better career. She encouraged the trainee to be punctual and disciplined in their approach toward life as a whole. She added that self-employment will go a long way in contributing to the rural economy. Sr. Sarita concluded her speech by emphasizing the ample cost-effective opportunity that mushroom cultivation provides in terms of livelihood, self-employment, and economic development.

The domain trainer Mr. Dillip Kumar Behera in his address to the trainees also laid emphasis on self-employment against the harsh reality of running after a job.

Mr. Sarada Prasad Nanda spoke on the short-term training program and the mission initiated by the Don Bosco Tech Society in association with Accenture. He summed up the program by offering a vote of thanks to the guest as well as the trainees for gracing the occasion by their solemn presence.
