On July 1, 2023, Don Bosco Tech organized an insightful field visit and guest lecture for trainees specializing in Associate Desktop Publishing (DTP) and E-Commerce. The event, held at the Mahindra Swaraj Plant in Chappar Chiri, Mohali, Punjab, was masterfully coordinated by the Mahindra HR team, under the expert leadership of Mr. RB Singh from the HR Department at Mahindra.

The day began at 10:00 am, with our eager students boarding a specially arranged bus to the plant. This visit presented a unique opportunity for our trainees to connect directly with industry professionals and gain a deep understanding of the streamlined and well-organized operations of a large-scale manufacturing facility.

During an engaging interactive session, Mr. RB Singh adeptly addressed the students' inquiries, offering a comprehensive overview of the factory’s rigorous safety protocols, sophisticated production processes, and unwavering commitment to maintaining a healthy work environment. One of the standout revelations was the factory's impressive production rate of one tractor every three minutes, which underscored the scale and efficiency of the manufacturing unit. This statistic not only highlighted the plant's operational prowess but also left a lasting impression on the students regarding the marvels of modern manufacturing.

The organizers went above and beyond to cater to the students' needs, arranging tea, snacks, and a deliciously prepared lunch, thereby exemplifying the importance of hospitality and attention to detail in professional settings. This level of care and consideration added a layer of comfort to the educational experience, making the visit both informative and enjoyable.
