Lockdown, due to the prevailing pandemic, cannot hold us back from doing the job. Don Bosco Tech Society, Chandigarh, amid this situation organized a virtual orientation for its trainees on July 28, 2020. The resource persons were Mr. Amit Khan (Senior Manager, Placement) and Mr. Alok Mishra (Asst. Manager, Placement) from the national office. Duo briefed the trainees on grooming; be it communication or body language.
A-20-Customer Relationship Management (CRMO) trainees along with Ms. Manpreet Kaur (Cluster Coordinator) was the organizer of the event, Ms. Jayanti Kakkar (Trainer, CE) and Mr. Amit Kumar (Trainer, CRM) also participated through virtually.
As per the industry demand, the resource persons briefed the trainees to take care of their grooming; Communicative English and apt body language as the saying go ‘the first impression is the best impression’. Having briefed on these vital topics conduct at the workplace was explained. Above all ‘communication skills’ seem to be the topmost important according to the statement of the resource persons. “Body language reveals the confidence level of a person,” said one of the resource persons.
The session was very successful with the trainee’s undivided attention. It would not have been complete had there be no ‘question and answer’ session. All their doubts and concerns were addressed adequately.
