On September 6, 2024, the Don Bosco Tech Chandigarh center organized an exhilarating field visit coupled with a Guest Lecture for the trainees of the Customer Care Executive (CCE) Domestic Non-Voice program. The much-anticipated visit took place at the Osnat Pharmaceutical BPO, a leading pharmaceutical outsourcing firm located in Sector 40-D, Chandigarh. The main objective of this visit was to provide the trainees with first-hand experience and insight into how a BPO operates within the pharmaceutical industry, making it a significant learning opportunity for all involved.
From the moment the trainees arrived at Osnat Pharmaceutical, they were warmly greeted by the staff, heightening their excitement and enthusiasm. The vibrant atmosphere, paired with a professional welcome, set a positive tone for the rest of the visit. As they entered the premises, there was a palpable sense of curiosity and eagerness among the trainees to discover how the world of pharmaceutical BPOs functions.

These services, he elaborated, include regulatory affairs, clinical trial support, pharmacovigilance (drug safety), and customer support – all essential to the functioning of the pharmaceutical industry. His explanation opened the trainees' eyes to the intricate and vital role BPOs play in healthcare.
In addition to sharing domain knowledge, Mr. Karamraj conducted an interactive interview session with the trainees, evaluating their understanding and readiness for a career in this field.
