A guest lecture was conducted on the 25 of March 2021 for the Housekeeping Attendant Manual Cleaning job role at the centre by Mr. Kitdorlang Dkhar, a former Food & Beverage student of Don Bosco Tech who was placed at Zudus Hospital in Ahmedabad.
The students welcomed Mr. Dkhar in the presence of Miss Genesis Najiar (Housekeeping trainer). He began his introduction with his life story by stating that he was once a trainee of the institution and the memories that he recollected were all the best memories. He faced many ups and downs while coping with the new work environment and meeting the demands at the workplace.
He inspired the trainees that no matter what life takes them, they should have to focus on their goals and move forward. He also shared his experience and the challenges he faced outside the state at the time of placement. He encourages the trainees to be smart, energetic, and willing to learn new things in their workplace, focus on the good things and learn how to be with the right group of friends.
He thanked Don Bosco Tech for changing his life and teaching him to be a confident person.
The trainees were attentive and asked questions related to placements, and their queries were all answered by him promptly.
At the end of the session, the trainees, as well as the trainers, wished him all the best in his future endeavor.
