Fr. Saji Stephen invoked divine blessings to commence the program, emphasizing the crucial role of communication and work ethics in every profession. His words encouraged the trainees to embrace dedication and hard work, rather than seeking an easy path in life.

Mrs. Audrey Khonglam delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the benefits and support provided by the Meghalaya State Skills Development Society (MSSDS). She urged parents to support their children’s aspirations, emphasizing the state's efforts to empower underprivileged youth and school dropouts through the Skills Meghalaya project. Her address shed light on the government's commitment to creating employment opportunities that enable the youth to become self-reliant and responsible citizens.

Ms. Rhiedolcy Diengdoh, the Placement Coordinator, expressed profound gratitude to MSSDS for their invaluable support. She discussed the broader horizons awaiting the trainees beyond the state's borders, encouraging them to seize these opportunities. She also urged parents to allow their children the freedom to explore and secure placements outside the state, given the limited local employment opportunities.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Miss Rhiedolcy Diengdoh, followed by refreshments for all attendees. The inaugural event was not just a ceremonial start but a beacon of hope and a call to action for the youth of Meghalaya, signaling the beginning of their journey towards self-sufficiency and professional success.
