On August 29, 2025, Don Bosco Tech, Kollam successfully conducted the final evaluation for the Cloud Application Developer course. The assessment was carried out in collaboration with Mettl Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a recognized leader in online skill evaluations. A total of 27 students participated, each undergoing an individual assessment session designed to evaluate their competencies in cloud technologies and professional readiness.

This evaluation was more than just an academic requirement it served as a powerful milestone that celebrated the resilience, dedication, and progress of the students. The atmosphere throughout the day reflected a strong sense of focus, excitement, and pride. For the students, the assessment offered a platform to showcase the hard-earned skills and knowledge they had gained during the training. For the faculty and training team, it was a moment of fulfilment and validation of their efforts.

The Cloud Application Developer program spans 80 intensive training days, delivering industry-relevant knowledge and hands-on experience to prepare students for meaningful careers in the IT sector. Backed by the technical and financial support of Accenture, this initiative reflects a shared commitment to providing free, employment-oriented training to youth from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. The collaboration with Don Bosco Tech Society ensures that the training is rooted in values of inclusion, equity, and sustainable skill development.

The final evaluation served as a critical tool to measure the effectiveness of the program’s curriculum and training methodology. It enabled trainers and program stakeholders to assess not only the students’ technical competence but also their growth in communication, problem-solving, and workplace behaviour.
