New Batch Inauguration and Parent's Meeting

Don Bosco Tech, Kollam, hosted an inspiring Batch Inauguration and Parent’s Meeting on 22nd October 2025, bringing together trainees, parents, and staff for a day that celebrated new beginnings, learning, and collaboration. The event marked the official welcome of the new batches for the Cloud Application Developer and IT Customer Care Executive programs.
The ceremony began with a serene prayer song by trainee Ms. Anjali, setting a reflective and uplifting tone for the day. This was followed by a heartfelt welcome address by trainee Mr. Gopika Krishnan, who extended warm greetings to all guests and participants, setting the stage for an engaging and memorable gathering.
Fr. Stephen Mukkattil, Rector of the Quilon Don Bosco Society, delivered the Presidential Address, emphasizing the transformative power of skill-based education. He urged the trainees to approach their training journey with dedication and vision, reminding them that skill, discipline, and character are the true foundations of success in the modern world.
The event’s formal inauguration was carried out by Ms. Renjini L, District Child Protection Officer (DCPU-Kollam), who lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge and hope. In her inaugural message, she spoke passionately about youth empowerment and the responsibility of today’s learners to shape a more inclusive and compassionate society.
Trainers Ms. Shiny S and Ms. Bineesha B introduced the course framework, offering parents and trainees a detailed insight into the curriculum, training methodology, and program outcomes. They also highlighted the vital role parents play in motivating and supporting students throughout their learning journey.
An interactive Q&A session led by Mr. Tinu Ruben, Coordinator of Don Bosco Tech Kollam, allowed parents to connect directly with the training team, raising thoughtful questions and engaging in meaningful discussion about career growth and student development.
Adding color and energy to the day, the cultural segment showcased the vibrant spirit of the trainees through group songs and solo performances. The lively atmosphere reflected the enthusiasm and creativity that Don Bosco Tech continues to nurture among its students.
Trainee Ms. Arya A. G brought the program to a heartfelt close with a Vote of Thanks, expressing deep appreciation to all dignitaries, parents, trainers, and fellow students who contributed to the success of the event.
