On October 9, 2025, DB Tech Kollam had the honor of hosting an inspiring and insightful guest session titled “Placement Orientation – How to Face an Interview.” The session was led by Mrs. Krishnapriya, Sales Team Head at Jio Telecom, whose extensive industry experience and practical wisdom provided students with valuable guidance on building successful careers.
The program began with a warm welcome address by Ms. Shiny S, the dedicated trainer of the IT–Customer Care Executive program. In her opening remarks, she underlined the importance of such orientation programs in helping students transition smoothly from academic learning to professional life. Her words created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and curiosity, encouraging participants to actively engage and make the most of the session.
Mrs. Krishnapriya’s presentation unfolded as a dynamic and interactive experience that covered key aspects of career readiness. She began by emphasizing the fundamentals of employment preparation—understanding job roles, developing a positive mindset, and mastering effective communication. She then guided the trainees through the process of career planning, helping them recognize their unique strengths, set realistic career goals, and explore diverse opportunities within the ever-evolving job market.
