World AIDS Day Celebration
01 Dec 2020
World AIDS Day is celebrated on December 1, 2020, every year. To acknowledge this idea, Don Bosco Tech Society (DB Tech) memorialized at Jalandhar center. This event was organized by the Center Head Ms. Anju Bala with her team members MR. Deepak Chana, Trainer - Electrician Domestic Solution, and Mr. Shivam, Trainee Sales Associate. Students took part in this session by making charts with the message.
Ms. Anu told their students and made them aware that Over 103,800 people are living with HIV in the UK. Globally, there are an estimated 38 million people who have the virus. Despite the virus only being identified in 1984, more than 35 million people have died of HIV or AIDS, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history. World AIDS Day is important because it reminds the public and government that HIV has not gone away – there is still a vital need to raise money, increase awareness, fight prejudice, and improve education. So it should not be considered to be a small disease.
