On July 17, 2024, the Jalandhar Center held its second placement orientation, aimed at equipping trainees with essential guidelines and techniques for successful interview interactions. Instead of inviting external guest speakers, the center utilized the expertise of its own domain trainers, Mr. Harpreet Singh (Customer Care Executive) and Miss Twinkle Leer (E-Commerce), to impart valuable knowledge on job interviews, interview success strategies, workplace etiquette, and career advancement tips.

The event commenced with Mr. Harpreet Singh, the Customer Care Executive domain trainer, who began by commending the trainees for their dedication and potential demonstrated during their training. He emphasized the importance of key interview skills such as self-awareness, self-control, confidence, body language, and effective communication. His engaging session provided trainees with a clear understanding of how to present themselves professionally and confidently in interviews.

Following Mr. Harpreet, Miss Twinkle Leer took the stage, bringing her expertise in E-Commerce to the fore. She started by motivating the students, urging them to maintain a positive and happy mindset during interviews. She explained how this attitude helps in staying calm and composed, which is crucial for navigating challenging interview questions and situations. Her session was filled with practical tips and strategies that left the trainees feeling empowered and well-prepared.

The event also featured a hands-on component with mock interviews, where trainees were asked typical interview questions in a simulated environment. This practical exercise allowed students to apply what they had learned and receive immediate feedback. The trainers observed that most trainees handled the cross-questioning phase with excellence, demonstrating their readiness for real-world interviews.

Overall, the orientation was a resounding success, providing trainees with insightful, practical knowledge and boosting their confidence. The combination of motivational talks, practical advice, and interactive mock interviews made the event both enlightening and engaging, leaving participants with newfound skills and a deeper understanding of effective interview techniques.
