Invitee alumni interact with trainees of Jalandhar
26 Feb 2020
Don Bosco Tech Society has been skilling and empowering the underprivileged youth for nearly a decade. It has trained in 1000s so far. As a token of appreciation, two alumni of Jalandhar center were invited to alma mater to interact on February 26, 2020, with the ongoing trainees. Usually, such interactions are held now and then creating a platform to reconnect and rejuvenate with fellow men.
Alumni Mr. Harnek Singh and Mr. Ranjit Singh were specially invited to the center.
During the meeting, they expressed their heartfelt gratitude to be back to the place which has molded and shaped their life. They felt thrilled to meet each other after a long time. Together alumni and on going trainees interacted for a while. The alumni shared their experiences of their workplace to motivate trainees. One of the things they told about Don Bosco Tech is that ‘it’s the best place’ they had ever found in their lives. ‘Trainers are well qualified. It is they who have shaped the character, a strengthened focus on career and helped us prepare for the job,’ quoted as saying.
These alumni (Mr. Harnek and Mr. Ranjit) were given a gift each as a token of appreciation. Trainees of the current batch felt very much motivated and excited after meeting them. Ms. Anju (Center Coordinator, Jalandhar) thanked them on behalf of the center.
