On December 13, 2024, the Don Bosco Tech Jalandhar Center hosted an inspiring and enriching event that marked the inauguration of the Customer Care Executive Domestic Non-Voice and E-Commerce Executive batches. The event was more than just an academic milestone; it was a celebration of new beginnings and a reflection of the values upheld by the Don Bosco Tech Society. A special highlight of the event was the presence of parents, who were invited to not only witness the start of their children’s professional journeys but also to gain insight into the Mission and Vision of Don Bosco Tech Society. In addition, the trainees were presented with Training Kits, symbolizing the center's commitment to supporting their development and success.
The event commenced at 11 AM with a warm welcome to Manpreet Kaur, the State Head for Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, and the parents in attendance. Manpreet Mam took a moment to express heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their valuable time, explaining the purpose of their visit—to better understand the organization's work and the potential it holds for their children's futures. She further shared the inspiring life story of Saint John Bosco, shedding light on his remarkable struggles and triumphs. The attendees were captivated by the story of Don Bosco Tech Society's inception, especially as two trainees from the current batch took the stage to share their perspectives on the legacy of Don Bosco and its impact on today’s youth.
The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as the stage was taken over by students who eloquently conveyed the transformative journey Don Bosco Tech Society provides to young people. Their words struck a chord with both parents and trainees, who recognized the value of this educational initiative in shaping well-rounded, skilled individuals ready to face the challenges of the modern world.
Trainer Harpreet Singh, who leads the Customer Care Executive batch, offered words of inspiration, emphasizing the importance of both education and practical skills in today’s competitive landscape. He also highlighted the placement opportunities available through the center, reassuring parents of the valuable career prospects their children could expect upon completing their training.
The event then took a personal turn when four trainees—two from each batch—took to the stage to share their experiences. They expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn and grow at Don Bosco Tech Society, emphasizing how the center has positively impacted their lives, not only by imparting technical skills but by building their confidence and preparing them for the workforce.
Mr. Satinder Singh, the IT-ITES trainer, followed with a motivational speech that resonated deeply with both trainees and parents. He spoke about the unique talents and skills that every individual possesses and the importance of recognizing and nurturing these abilities to achieve success. His words encouraged the trainees to embrace their full potential, continually refining their skills to stay ahead in an ever-changing world.
As the event continued, several parents were invited to share their thoughts and feedback. Their input was valuable, offering suggestions on how the training process could be further improved to ensure their children receive the best education and preparation possible. The dialogue between parents and the center reflected the deep trust and collaboration between them.
The ceremony concluded with a touching speech by Miss Twinkle Leer, an E-Commerce trainee, who reminded her fellow trainees to always ask questions and clear their doubts during the training process. She emphasized the importance of staying curious and proactive, as it is these qualities that will ultimately prepare them for professional success.
To mark the end of the event, all trainees were given their Training Kits, symbolizing the center’s commitment to their development. The trainees, overjoyed by the thoughtful gesture, expressed their gratitude to the staff and trainers, recognizing the invaluable opportunity to build a better future.
The event was a resounding success, a seamless blend of inspiration, motivation, and practical insight. Parents, already informed through WhatsApp groups and phone calls, left the event feeling reassured and excited about the journey their children were about to embark on. This memorable occasion not only celebrated the launch of new batches but also reinforced the enduring impact of Don Bosco Tech Society in shaping the lives of young individuals in meaningful and transformative ways.
