The Don Bosco Tech Society organized a guest lecture in E-Commerce on the topic of Online Marketing: Modern Trends and Future Prospects for the Third Year students on June 12, 2022, on the Center premises. The resource person was Mr. Rajveer Singh, a former marketing consultant. Mr. Singh initiated the lecture with the concepts of service design and business canvas. He explained the several key modern trends in online marketing, namely, influencer marketing, chatbots, Micro-Moments marketing by Google, personalization, visual search, social media apps, the importance of consumer psychology, etc.

Mr. Singh explained that reality optimization, the transformation of India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy due to the Digital India initiative of the Government of India, interactive visual content, prioritization of big data and artificial intelligence, etc. would be the prime prospects of online marketing. The session was very interactive. Mr. Singh eloquently answered all the questions the students and faculty put forward. The students opined that the guest lecture was rich in content and exposure.
