On January 22nd, the Jalandhar center of Don Bosco Tech organized a placement orientation session for the trainees of the current batch. The session was conducted by Mrs. Manpreet Kaur, who serves as the cluster coordinator for Punjab and Himachal Pradesh states.

Mrs. Kaur commenced the event by providing an overview of the domains in which the trainees are enrolled. As the session progressed, she shifted the focus towards imparting knowledge about the workplace environment necessary for optimal performance. Mrs. Manpreet elaborated on the challenges and inquiries interviewees commonly encounter during job interviews, offering valuable insights to navigate this crucial step effectively. Recognizing the significance of interviews as the initial portrayal of one's professional persona, she urged the trainees to prioritize their interview preparation.

Transitioning further, Mrs. Kaur delved into invaluable tips and techniques essential for success in the professional sphere. She emphasized key skills such as confidence, effective communication, positive behavior and attitude, adeptness in learning and adapting to new tasks, keen observation, and timely responses to superiors and colleagues.

The overarching objective of the lecture was to equip the trainees with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their forthcoming job roles post-completion of their three-month course. It aimed to prepare them for the challenges they may encounter in their respective workplaces and instill confidence in their ability to navigate through such situations effectively.
