On May 10, 2025, Don Bosco Tech Society, Kalaburagi, hosted an engaging and thought-provoking communication session as part of the induction programme for the new DDEO batch. The session went far beyond traditional lectures, transforming into a dynamic learning experience that invited participants to explore the true essence of communication in personal and professional contexts.

Through a blend of interactive discussions, role plays, and reflective exercises, trainees discovered how communication is not merely about speaking or listening but about connecting—understanding the emotions, perspectives, and intentions that shape human interaction. The facilitators emphasized the art of empathetic listening, clarity in expression, and the importance of body language in fostering trust and teamwork.

Participants were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, engage with peers from diverse backgrounds, and reflect on their communication styles. Many found themselves uncovering new insights about their strengths and areas for growth, realizing how effective communication could influence leadership, collaboration, and career success.

By the end of the session, the participants left not only with enhanced communication strategies but also with a deeper appreciation of how interpersonal skills form the cornerstone of personal development and professional excellence. The event was a vibrant beginning to their journey with Don Bosco Tech Society—one that promises to shape them into confident, compassionate, and competent professionals ready to make a difference in their respective fields.
