Self esteem and Decision Making
30 Jun 2025
On 30th June 2025, a dynamic session on self-esteem and decision-making was conducted as part of the induction program for the IT CRM batch at DB Tech Kalaburagi. The event brought together fresh learners at the start of their journey, offering them not just orientation but an opportunity to pause, reflect, and build the foundation for personal and professional growth.
The session explored how self-esteem shapes confidence, influences thought patterns, and directly impacts the quality of decisions we make in everyday life. Rather than being a one-way lecture, it unfolded as an interactive experience filled with engaging discussions, scenario-based activities, and real-life examples. Participants were encouraged to examine their own self-beliefs, challenge limiting thoughts, and experiment with strategies to strengthen their decision-making abilities.
What made the session truly captivating was the way the participants immersed themselves in the exercises. Moments of laughter, curiosity, and discovery filled the room as they realized how small shifts in self-perception can dramatically alter outcomes. Each activity revealed the subtle yet powerful role of self-esteem in making choices under uncertainty, and the collective energy turned the event into a lively, insightful exchange.
By the end, participants not only carried away practical tools to enhance self-confidence but also a renewed sense of clarity and resilience. For many, the session became a turning point, helping them see decision-making not as a daunting responsibility but as an exciting opportunity to align actions with values and aspirations.
The experience set an inspiring tone for the induction program—encouraging learners to step forward with confidence, embrace challenges with optimism, and view their journey ahead as a chance to grow into both skilled professionals and self-assured individuals.
