Placement Interaction Report
13 Dec 2025
On 13 December 2025, Don Bosco Tech, Kalaburagi hosted a meaningful placement interaction for the successfully completed Digital Mitra batch, marking an important milestone in the learners’ transition from training to employment. The session was designed to bridge the gap between skilled youth and industry opportunities by facilitating direct engagement with potential employers from Bengaluru.
The interaction was led by Mr. Jeevan, HR representative from Quess, who visited the campus on behalf of WESTRON and Ather. The session provided candidates with valuable insights into the companies’ work culture, available job roles, career growth prospects, and employment conditions. Mr. Jeevan also addressed practical aspects such as work location, shift schedules, expectations from employees, and relocation requirements, enabling candidates to make informed decisions about their career paths.
The candidates participated with enthusiasm, engaging actively in discussions and seeking clarity on various aspects of employment. Many expressed keen interest in the opportunities presented, and several candidates confirmed their willingness to relocate to Bengaluru to take up roles with WESTRON and Ather. This positive response reflected both the confidence of the candidates and the relevance of the skills imparted through the Digital Mitra program.
The interaction concluded successfully with the identification of willing candidates for further shortlisting. The HR team from Quess will coordinate the next steps of the selection process. Overall, the event proved to be a valuable platform for connecting trained youth with real-world employment opportunities, reinforcing Don Bosco Tech Society’s commitment to empowering young people through skill development and sustainable livelihoods.
