- Introduction
A Debate and One-Minute Talk Programme was organized at DBTech, Kalaburagi on 19th May 2026 for the Digital Mitra trainees. The programme was conducted with the objective of enhancing communication skills, public speaking abilities, confidence, and critical thinking among the trainees.
The event provided an excellent platform for trainees to express their ideas, improve stage confidence, and develop effective presentation skills essential for personal and professional growth.
- Objectives of the Programme
The main objectives of the programme were:
- To improve public speaking and communication skills.
- To encourage critical thinking and self-expression.
- To build confidence among trainees.
- To enhance spontaneous speaking abilities.

- Programme Details
The programme consisted of two activities:
1. Debate Competition
Trainees participated enthusiastically in the debate session on various socially relevant and educational topics. Participants presented arguments both in favour and against the given topics with confidence and clarity.
The debate competition encouraged:

- Confidence in expressing opinions
2. One-Minute Talk
In the one-minute talk session, trainees spoke on different topics for one minute without preparation. The activity helped participants improve:

All Digital Mitra trainees actively participated in both activities. The trainees showed great enthusiasm, confidence, and interest throughout the programme. Their active involvement made the event interactive and successful.
