We are delighted to share the highlights of a milestone event—the first LMS-based test for the IT-CCE trainees at Don Bosco Tech Society, Gulbarga, held on 7th August 2025. This was not just an assessment, but an introduction to a new way of learning, testing, and adapting to technology-driven education.
Objective of the Assessment
The test was organized with two purposes: first, to evaluate how well the trainees had absorbed the foundational modules of the IT-CCE program, and second, to immerse them in the experience of taking a digital test through the Learning Management System. This exposure is expected to prepare them for future assessments and boost their comfort level with online platforms, which are becoming an essential part of the modern workplace.
Test Format and Content
The assessment featured 30 multiple-choice questions, carefully framed to reflect the knowledge gained from the initial sessions of the program. The scope of questions extended beyond basic IT concepts to include workplace behavior, communication essentials, and digital tools—skills that mirror real-life expectations in customer care and support roles.
Participation and Execution
A total of 18 enthusiastic trainees participated in the assessment. They were provided prior guidance on accessing and navigating the LMS, which allowed the process to run smoothly. The environment was supportive, ensuring minimal disruptions and quick resolution of technical queries. Every participant logged in successfully, attempted the complete set of questions, and submitted their responses within the scheduled time.
Observations and Outcome
The experience revealed much more than test performance. Trainees displayed genuine excitement in engaging with the digital platform, a clear indication of their growing adaptability to new tools. Their ability to manage the test independently signals a strengthening sense of digital confidence—an asset that extends well beyond the classroom. The results from this test will also help trainers identify knowledge gaps, refine teaching strategies, and reinforce specific concepts where necessary.
