Pick and Act activities for IT-CCE & DM
26 Jul 2025
On August 29, 2025, a lively and thought-provoking Pick and Act activity was organized under the IT, CCE, and Digital Mitra programs, turning the classroom into a stage of creativity, laughter, and learning. Far from being a routine exercise, the activity was designed to spark imagination, sharpen communication skills, and provide students with a deeper understanding of real-life situations through performance and interaction.
The unique format of the session kept everyone on their toes. Students were invited to pick topics at random—ranging from everyday challenges to workplace scenarios—and instantly bring them to life through short skits. This spontaneous element not only fueled creativity but also encouraged students to think quickly, adapt on the spot, and collaborate effectively with their peers.
What made the activity truly exciting was its ability to merge fun with powerful life lessons. By acting out diverse scenarios, students gained fresh insights into problem-solving, empathy, and teamwork. Many realized that communication is not just about words, but also about expression, body language, and the ability to connect with others. The experience helped break hesitation, boost self-confidence, and highlight the importance of listening as much as speaking.
The activity also underscored how such exercises prepare students for real-world challenges, whether in professional environments or personal interactions. It encouraged them to step out of their comfort zones, embrace spontaneity, and discover hidden talents they might not have known they possessed.
By the end of the day, Pick and Act had become more than an activity—it was a platform where students explored creativity, built stronger bonds with peers, and walked away with new perspectives on communication and collaboration. For Don Bosco Tech Society, it stood as another shining example of how innovative approaches to learning can shape not just skills, but also character and confidence.
