On September 24, 2025, Don Bosco Tech Society hosted an engaging and brain-boosting activity designed to challenge memory and sharpen cognitive skills. Participants took part in a dynamic name-chain game, where the first person introduced themselves, and each subsequent participant had to recall all previous names in order before adding their own.

As the chain grew, the challenge intensified, testing both the participants’ sequential recall and working memory. What made the activity particularly fascinating was observing how memory strategies naturally emerged—some relied on rhythmic repetition, others on visualization techniques, while a few developed clever mnemonics on the spot.

Beyond being a fun icebreaker, the game offered a deeper insight into how the human brain processes and stores information. It demonstrated the importance of focus, attention, and pattern recognition in everyday memory tasks. Attendees left not only with stronger mental agility but also with a newfound appreciation for the intricate ways in which our minds retain and retrieve information.

This innovative session was a vivid reminder that learning and memory exercises don’t have to be confined to textbooks—they can be lively, social, and profoundly enlightening experiences.
