On 4 December 2025, Don Bosco Tech organised an insightful and enriching guest lecture on the topic IT–Customer Care Executive (CCE) for its students. The session was conducted by Ms. Ishika, who shared her valuable knowledge and experience about the evolving role of customer care professionals in today’s technology-driven and service-focused industries. She began the session by explaining that a Customer Care Executive serves as the primary point of communication between an organisation and its customers, playing a crucial role in handling inquiries, complaints, and service requests with respect and professionalism.
Ms. Ishika discussed the key responsibilities of a CCE, emphasising the need for accuracy, patience, and a positive attitude when interacting with customers. She highlighted essential skills such as effective communication, active listening, empathy, and problem-solving, which help in understanding customer concerns and providing appropriate solutions. According to her, staying calm under pressure is an important quality for every CCE, especially when dealing with challenging or dissatisfied customers. She also explained the importance of following company procedures, maintaining proper documentation, and sharing feedback with management to help improve service delivery.
Throughout the lecture, she stressed that customer satisfaction is a major factor influencing a company’s growth and competitiveness. She encouraged students to recognise that the role of a CCE goes beyond answering calls or messages; it involves representing the organisation’s values and ensuring a positive experience for every customer. Ishika concluded by informing students about the wide range of career opportunities available in IT, telecom, banking, retail, hospitality, and other sectors. The session was highly informative and motivated students to build strong communication skills for a successful career in customer service.
At the end of the lecture, we expressed our sincere thanks to Ms. Ishika for sharing her valuable insights and taking the time to guide the students.
