Don Bosco Tech Thakurmunda team organized a parent’s meeting of Accenture - 12 for both the job roles Mushroom Grower and Organic Grower (Batch 7 and 8) on December 12, 2022. The main objective of the meeting was to help creating better understanding between parents and teachers and build harmonious relationship between the training centre and the community. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Diganta Pattnaik (Support Domain Trainer), Mr. Jagadish Prasad Swain (Centre Coordinator), Mr. Abhimanyu Behera (Domain Trainer) were present to run the programme smoothly. Many parents have attended this event from different corner of Mayurbhanj District.
Mr. Jagadish Prasad Swain (Centre Coordinator) welcomed each one of parents to this meeting. He described the importance of skill training program in agriculture. He briefed the parents on future prospect of a trainee on completion of the course. Mr. Diganta Pattnaik briefed about project profile of Accenture project as well as skilling India mission work for Youth’s Skill development for the young mass which is running all over India by DB Tech to enlighten them about vision, mission, core values and objectives.
It was a great interaction between the teacher and the parents for the development of their children where they discussed theory and practical activities for both the job roles. Then Mr. Abhimanyu Behera encouraged parents to appreciate student’s participation in all training activities during the session. This helped to create the necessary consciousness among parents to stimulate their interest in the students and the training center. Parents appreciated the efforts and the individual attention given to every child. The event witnessed around 75% attendance thus displaying enthusiasm among parents for the smooth working and progress of the training programme.
Finally, vote of thanks was given by Mr. Jagadish Prasad Swain on behalf of Don Bosco Tech. He thanked them for participating and marking it successful by their presence from the busy schedule.
