The batch inaugural ceremony was held on August 17, 2022 at Don Bosco Tech Thakurmunda for both the job role (Mushroom Grower and Organic Grower, Batch -3 & 4) of Accenture – 12. The inaugural ceremony began with the formal procedure of lighting of lamp by the centre head Sri Sarat Chandra Tripathy, Mr. Jagadish Prasad Swain (Centre Coordinator), Mr. Abhimanyu Behera (Trainer), and beloved trainees.

Mr. Abhimanyu Behera formally explained the successful journey of DB Tech in all over India and how it has been operating in Thakurmunda for many years. He explained the mission & vision of Don Bosco Tech Society and the various project feature and deliverables of Accenture. He briefed the benefits of getting into DB Tech Skilling Mission and welcomes all the trainees on behalf of DB Tech.

Mr Sarat Kumar Tripathy explained the importance of learning Mushroom Grower and Organic Grower now Days.  He explained how organic farming improves the soil health and it too good for human beings. Organic farming helps in keeping agricultural production at a sustainable level. It reduces the cost of agricultural production and also improves the soil health. The aims for organic farming are: Conserving environment and natural resources, re-establishing ecological balance, encouraging sustainable agriculture, improving soil fertility, increasing genetic diversity, and putting an end to chemical pollution and toxic residues.

He said the value addition to mushrooms in terms of quality products is another economic avenue to the family. Nowadays, mushroom cultivation is the most productive and profitable business in India. It is getting popular gradually in India because, in a short time, it converts farmers’ hard work into profit. Farmers use mushroom cultivation is a process in India as an alternate source of money. Mushrooms are tasty to eat.

At the end Mr. Jagdish Prasad Swain offered a vote of thanks to all including the state operational team. He thanked all the trainees for connecting with us and assured them for their beautiful future. The beautiful event ended up with “National Anthem”.
