The Inauguration ceremony on September 18th, 2024, a significant milestone was marked at Don Bosco Tech Thakurmunda of Batch 3 and 4 (Skill to Succeed 24-25).The trainees embarking on the journey of becoming Mushroom Growers and Organic Growers.The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by esteemed guests, Mrs Namita Rout (Field officer Thakurmunda block) Thakurmunda, Mr. Jagadish Prasad Swain, Centre Coordinator, Abhimanyu Behera, Domain Trainer, Mrs. Golap Behera, (Mobilizer) and the enthusiastic trainees themselves.
Mr. Abhimanyu Behera expressively elucidated the rich history and successful endeavors of DB Tech across As you embark on this new chapter, he said I extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you to. Particularly, as you begin your journey here, remember that this institution is not just a place of learning but a community that fosters growth, exploration, and excellence. Shedding light on the transformative projects and deliverables in collaboration with Accenture. Mr. Behera warmly welcomed all trainees on behalf of DB Tech, emphasizing the invaluable benefits of engaging in Don Bosco Tech's Skilling Mission.
In his address, Mrs Rout underscored the contemporary significance of learning Mushroom Growing and Organic Farming practices. She articulated the manifold benefits of organic farming, elucidating its role in enhancing soil health and sustaining agricultural production. Mrs. Rout emphasized the holistic aims of organic farming, ranging from environmental conservation to economic value addition through quality mushroom products.
Mr. Jagadish Prasad Swain elucidated how the training provided would play a pivotal role in mitigating job crises, offering avenues for self-employment, particularly empowering rural women and youth through mushroom cultivation and entrepreneurial skills. Mr. Behera further expounded on how organic methodologies could amplify farm productivity, foster environmental restoration, and integrate small-scale farm families into sustainable distribution networks, thereby enhancing food security.
The ceremony culminated with Mrs. Golap Behera (Mobilizer) extending heartfelt gratitude to all attendees, including the state operational team, for their unwavering support. She expressed gratitude to the trainees for their enthusiastic participation and assured them of a promising future ahead.
