Among them, the team “Freedom Fighters” won the first prize for their artwork, which stood out in its originality and layered meaning.

Complementing the visual expression was a spirited quiz competition that tested students’ awareness of India’s history, freedom movement, and contemporary relevance of Independence. The participants impressed the audience with their knowledge and enthusiasm, proving that patriotism is equally about understanding the past and staying informed in the present. After a closely contested session, Ms. Rabiyath Y emerged as the winner, earning well-deserved applause for her quick thinking and depth of knowledge.

The centerpiece of the day was the address delivered by the Centre Director, Fr. Antony Joseph. His words went beyond celebration, serving as a reflective call to action.
