Inauguration Ceremony of Guest Service Associate (Food & Beverage) job role, Batch - 02, Learning to Earning 2026-27

On 16th June 2026, Don Bosco Tech Sambalpur Centre successfully inaugurated Batch-02 of the Guest Service Associate (Food & Beverage) training programme under the Learning to Earning 2026–27 Project. The event marked the beginning of a new learning journey for aspiring youth seeking careers in the hospitality and food service industry.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome and was graced by Sr. Sumira, Centre Head, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the trainees, she emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, positive attitude, and continuous learning in building a successful career. She encouraged the trainees to make the best use of the training opportunity and remain committed to their goals.
The event was also attended by Mr. Ishak Pradhan, Ms. Rasmita Behera, and Mr. Lalgopal Nanda, who motivated the trainees by highlighting the growing employment opportunities in the hospitality sector. They explained that the Guest Service Associate role offers diverse career prospects in hotels, restaurants, resorts, catering services, and other customer service-oriented industries.
A key highlight of the programme was the address by Mr. Dillip Kumar Behera, Centre Coordinator, who provided valuable insights into the Guest Service Associate (Food & Beverage) job role. He explained the importance of customer service, communication skills, professional grooming, teamwork, and workplace etiquette in the hospitality industry. He also briefed the trainees about the various career pathways available after successful completion of the training.
The newly enrolled trainees actively participated in the session and expressed enthusiasm about developing the skills required to build successful careers in the hospitality sector. The inauguration created a positive and motivating environment, encouraging the trainees to approach the programme with confidence and determination.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Lalgopal Nanda, who expressed gratitude to the guests, trainers, and trainees for their participation and support. He encouraged the trainees to remain focused and make the most of the opportunities provided through the programme.
