On 11th July 2026, Don Bosco Tech Society, Sambalpur Centre organized an informative guest lecture on "Hospitality Growth and Career Opportunities as a Guest Service Associate (Food & Beverage)" for the Guest Service Associate (F&B) trainees. The session aimed to help trainees understand the growing hospitality industry and the career opportunities available in the Food & Beverage sector.

The programme began with a warm welcome by Mr. Isak Pradhan, Domain Trainer, who introduced the guest speaker, Mr. Prasanta Bhosagar, Manager, Hotel Grand Shiva. His experience and practical knowledge immediately captured the trainees' attention.

During the session, Mr. Prasanta shared valuable insights into the hospitality industry, explaining the wide range of career opportunities, career growth, and the possibility of working in reputed hotels across India and abroad. He also shared his personal journey—from a humble beginning to becoming a hotel manager—demonstrating how dedication, hard work, and continuous learning can lead to professional success.

His key message, "Your dedication decides your success," inspired the trainees and encouraged them to stay committed to their goals. He emphasized that a positive attitude, discipline, and a willingness to learn are essential for building a successful career in the hospitality industry.

The session was highly interactive, with trainees actively asking questions and participating in discussions. They gained practical knowledge about workplace expectations, customer service, professional behaviour, and career progression in the Food & Beverage sector.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Dillip Kumar Behera, Support Domain Trainer, who expressed gratitude to Mr. Prasanta for sharing his valuable experiences and motivating the trainees.
