Exposure Visit of Graphic Designer trainees, Batch - 01 of Learning to Earning 2026-27

On August 4, 2026, Don Bosco Tech Society, Sambalpur organized an exposure visit for the Graphic Designer trainees to Print Point, Sambalpur. The main objective of the visit was to provide practical industry exposure and help trainees understand the real working environment of the graphic design and printing industry. The visit was accompanied by Mr. Lalgopal Nanda, Domain Trainer, and Mr. Dillip Kumar Behera, Support Domain Trainer.
At Print Point, the trainees were warmly welcomed by Mr. Subrata Mallick, Proprietor. He explained the different stages of the printing process and gave the trainees an overview of how a printing unit operates. The trainees observed various printing methods, including flex printing, banner printing, and card printing. They also learned about printing on different materials such as sun boards and steel panels.
During the session, Mr. Subrata Mallick shared valuable career guidance with the trainees. He explained the importance of having strong basic knowledge, regularly practicing design software, working on real projects, and building a professional portfolio. He also encouraged the trainees to keep learning new skills and stay updated with industry trends.
The trainees actively participated by asking questions and interacting with the industry expert. They shared that the visit helped them understand how graphic design concepts are applied in real work and connected their classroom learning with industry practices.
