1st Guest Lecture for Graphic Designer Job Role, Batch - 03, Skills To Succeed 2025-26
19 Dec 2025
Don Bosco Tech, Sambalpur Centre, continued its commitment to industry-integrated learning by organizing an insightful guest lecture for the Graphic Designer trainees of Batch 03 under the Skills to Succeed 2025–26 programme on December 19, 2025. The session was led by Mr. Rajesh Singh, Proprietor of R.K Media, Sambalpur, who brought with him rich industry experience and a practical perspective on the evolving world of graphic design.
The interaction offered trainees a deep dive into the essence of brand identity and its critical role in design. Mr. Rajesh emphasized that a logo is far more than an attractive visual; it is a meaningful expression of a brand’s story, values, and long-term vision. By clearly distinguishing between logo design and branding, he helped trainees understand how a well-conceived logo forms the backbone of brand recognition and fosters lasting customer trust.
A key highlight of the session was the discussion on the seven essential principles of effective layout design. Through practical illustrations and real-world examples, Mr. Rajesh guided students on achieving visual balance, proper text alignment, and the thoughtful placement of graphic elements. These insights enabled trainees to appreciate how strong design is not only visually appealing but also purposeful and user-focused.
The lecture extended beyond design techniques to address career growth and industry readiness. Mr. Rajesh encouraged trainees to remain curious, stay updated with emerging design trends, and continuously sharpen both their creative and technical skills to stay relevant in a competitive market.
The session proved to be both enriching and motivating, offering a meaningful blend of technical learning and industry exposure. It strengthened the trainees’ understanding of core design principles while inspiring them to approach creativity as a powerful tool for building successful brands and businesses.
Through initiatives like this, Don Bosco Tech Society reaffirms its dedication to bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, empowering young trainees with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to pursue rewarding careers in the creative sector.
