2nd Guest Lecture for Graphic Designer Job Role, Batch - 03, Skills To Succeed 2025-26
26 Mar 2026
Don Bosco Tech, Sambalpur Centre, continued its commitment to industry-based learning by organizing a guest lecture for the Graphic Designer trainees of Batch 05 under the Skills to Succeed 2025–26 programme on March 26, 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Prakash Nanda, Proprietor of R.K Media, Sambalpur, who shared his industry experience and practical knowledge about graphic design.
During the session, trainees learned about the importance of brand identity and its role in design. Mr. Prakash explained that a logo is not just a visual design; it represents a brand’s story, values, and long-term vision. He also explained the difference between logo design and branding. This helped trainees understand how a well-designed logo helps build brand recognition and customer trust.
One of the main highlights of the session was the explanation of the seven important principles of effective layout design. With practical examples, Mr. Prakash guided students on how to maintain visual balance, proper text alignment, and the correct placement of design elements. This helped trainees understand that good design should be both attractive and meaningful.
The lecture also included guidance on career growth and industry readiness. Mr. Prakash encouraged trainees to stay curious, learn about new design trends, and continue improving their creative and technical skills to succeed in the competitive market.
The session was very informative and motivating for the trainees. It helped them better understand important design concepts and inspired them to use creativity in building strong brands and businesses.
Through such initiatives, Don Bosco Tech Society continues to connect classroom learning with real industry experience. It helps trainees gain knowledge, confidence, and skills to build successful careers in the creative field.
