2nd Guest Lecture for Graphic Designer Job Role, Batch - 01, Learning to Earning 2026-27
18 Jul 2026
Don Bosco Tech, Sambalpur Centre, continued its commitment to industry-based learning by organizing a guest lecture for the Graphic Designer trainees of Batch 01 under the Learning to Earning 2026–27 programme on 18 July 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Rohit Kundu, Manager, R.K. Media, Sambalpur, who shared his industry experience and practical knowledge of graphic design.
During the session, Mr. Rohit explained the importance of brand identity and its role in graphic design. He shared that a logo is more than just a visual symbol—it reflects a brand's identity, values, and vision. He also explained the difference between logo design and branding, helping trainees understand how a strong logo creates brand recognition and builds customer trust.
A key highlight of the session was the discussion on the seven principles of effective layout design. Using practical examples, Mr. Rohit explained how to maintain visual balance, proper alignment, spacing, and the effective placement of design elements. The trainees learned that a good design should be both attractive and meaningful.
Mr. Rohit also guided the trainees on career opportunities in the graphic design field. He encouraged them to stay updated with the latest design trends, improve their creativity, and continuously develop their technical skills to succeed in the industry.
The session was highly informative and inspiring. It enhanced the trainees' understanding of important design concepts and motivated them to apply their creativity in developing effective and professional designs.
Through such industry interactions, Don Bosco Tech Society continues to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry practices, enabling trainees to gain practical knowledge, confidence, and the skills needed for successful careers in the creative industry.
